The destination or the result like any material thing are temporary.<br />I noticed you were trying to explore the scope of "contentment". I wish to add a few things from my experiences. <br />it is very difficult to define contentment universally.It is like beauty. Very subjective. For you following your ambitions make you content. For some just accepting what they get make them content. <br />Happiness is a result of contentment. If you are content you will be happy but being happy does not always mean contentment. <br />I think contentment is a state of the soul, thus very difficult to achieve, while happiness is a state of the mind, can be easily forgotten.<br />For example you go to a wedding which has a varitey of very tasty cuisines. However in the end you miss out on a few delicacies and then somebody tells you how tasty something was which you missed.<br />you will not remain happy if you are not content with what you had.
